The Peak District - Part One

On Monday, we went on a short walk, about 5 miles, though there were a few fairly steep hills.


Here are some of the photos from the walk which started in a small village called Combs and went up the hillside towards Chapel-en-le-Frith, then back down a hill and through some farms (one very boggy one called Marsh Farm) and then around the edge the reservoir and back to Combs.













Although the weather was beautiful and the views stunning, these photos don't really show them off properly.

Rock 'n' Sausage Rolls - Update!!

Thanks to Brock at the Glendorgal Hotel, my total raised for the night has increased because all he charged for the buffet was a kiss on the cheek!

The crowd were fantastic - thanks for coming!

The total money raised was £507.91 - amazing!

It's finally here..well nearly!

So...tomorrow is the BIG night...
